NVIDIA and Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI) have agreed to a long-term partnership focused on accelerating the AI research company's growth, according to NVIDIA Investor Relations. NVIDIA has also invested in SSI, which was founded in 2024 by Ilya Sutskever and Daniel Levy.
The agreement gives SSI access to NVIDIA's upcoming Vera Rubin computing platform. The companies expect this combination of investment and computing resources to increase SSI's computing capacity tenfold.
Both organizations will work together on improvements to NVIDIA's existing and future computing platforms. SSI will contribute research insights into the direction of artificial intelligence development.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said the partnership followed access to SSI's closely protected research. He highlighted Sutskever's contributions to foundational AI research and expressed interest in discoveries that could emerge from the collaboration.
SSI CEO Sutskever said the additional computing resources would enable the company to expand research it considers ready to scale. SSI's stated objective is to develop safe superintelligence.
