The Enterprise Technology Association (ETA), a US group that helps businesses and regions adopt AI and emerging technology, has given Zack Huhn a new title: Chief SuperIntelligence Officer. The appointment was announced on November 2, 2026 in a press release distributed by EIN Presswire.
In the role, Huhn will run ETA's strategy on advanced AI and other emerging technology, and work to line up its network of members and partners with Washington's AI agenda. He will also keep his current job leading the US AI Congress through 2027.
What the new role covers
According to the release, the job has five parts. Huhn will:
- follow frontier AI, from agent systems to the road toward superintelligence, and turn it into practical advice for members
- match ETA's programs to federal goals on national standards, AI workforce training and agency adoption
- guide members through work with government, from standards bodies to public-sector deals and procurement
- link AI strategy to neighboring fields tied to national competitiveness: cybersecurity, quantum, robotics and AI infrastructure
- bring together ETA's Advisors Network on the technical and policy questions that advanced AI raises
ETA's argument is that as AI grows more capable, the winners will be organizations that understand both the technology and the federal rules, standards and spending that shape how it is built and bought. The new post is meant to give members a direct line to both.
"Industry and the federal government are both moving fast on AI."
— Zack Huhn
Huhn said the two sides too often work in parallel without meeting, and described his job as connecting those conversations so members can build with confidence.
Who is Zack Huhn
ETA co-founder Summer Crenshaw said Huhn has built his career where technology meets public policy. The release credits him with helping set up the bipartisan Smart Cities Caucus in Congress, chairing the IEEE P2784 working group, and serving on the IEEE Standards Development Board as its youngest-ever member. He has been named a Top 50 Global Leader in Smart Cities and Regions, and is based in Tampa, Florida.
Superintelligence on the 2027 agenda
Huhn will remain Executive Director of the US AI Congress, an event that brings federal, state and local policymakers together with industry, universities and communities to shape how AI is developed and used in the country.
The next edition, US AI Congress 2027, will make superintelligence the core of its program. It will also run tracks on AI anthropology and on AI technology, policy and impact, and showcase cohort members and projects from the National AI Accelerator.
Huhn said the congress aims to put policymakers, industry and communities in one room before decisions are made, and that in 2027 that room needs to be discussing superintelligence. On December 10, 2026, the organizers also plan to name the 2027 event partners and preview the agenda.
Why it matters
Corporate and government titles are starting to carry the Super Intelligence label, and ETA's move brings it to an industry association that trains workers and advises regions. Pairing the title with federal alignment signals that groups like ETA expect superintelligence policy, standards and procurement to become a field of their own. The next markers to watch are the partner and agenda announcements on December 10 and the March 2027 congress.
